Zune Unveiled

The entertainment device from Microsoft has come out of cover. The details are out in an official press release. The official pictures and logos are out and believe me they look tempting.

ComingZune.com has a new animation now and the insider has a new post.

A video showing Zune in action are out on mobilitytoday.com, part 2 of the video which shows sharing music from one Zune to another Zune. A lot more videos are pouring in and NewsMarket has a collection of them.

Engadget has been speculating lately a lot about Zune and the possible features, and now they have a detailed post with pictures, specifications and possible accessories. They also managed a short interview with J Allard (Corp. VP)

so what do we all know for sure

It is called Zune.
It plays music (MP3, AAC and WMA) and will support your existing, unprotected, music library.
It plays video (WMV, H.264, MPEG4, 320x240) and will also play podcasts.
It will display images (JPG)
It supports WiFi and will be available in 3 colors (Black, White and Brown)
It can share music with other Zune which can play the files for max 3 plays within 3 days.
Its UI is customizable and has a 3" inch LCD display (portrait/landscape)
It can store upto 30 gigs of data.
It sports a built in FM tuner.

O I just loved the series. I thought this time his son gonna be taking on the ring and Rocky Balboa will be his coach, but seems Rocky's not old enuf for a coach. will have to wait for Rocky 7 for that.
