    Murphy's Law

    You reach office at 8:40 in the morning to work on something vvimp to an extent that you actually skipped the ususal morning chores.
    You get a Coffee to break-even with the others and get into an empty lift.
    Just to find out that the almighty has chosen this one day for you to have a 1:1 with your VP (Neo of IDC) in the lift.

    woh friday ki baarish

    what a weekend ... after all the heat and hard work for the week friday night came as a relief. I had dinner @ copper chimeny and just when i came out it started raining .. wow .. i just loved that clouds the lighting the rain.

    Mr. Bush to visit ISB

    Acc. to the stories doing the rounds...
    • he will arrive on March the 3rd around 10:30am
    • will be in city for around 4 and a half hours.
    • will use 2 choppers to travel in Hyd  (and YSR will not be allowed to travel with him) 
    • will visit Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University to get some updates on agricultural research.
    • will visit ISB to address young entrepreneurs, economists, businessmen and representatives from IT and biotech industries.
    • will announce the opening of a US consulate in Hyd.
    The only good thing i see is the opening of a US consulate which will help getting VISA easier for Hyd'badi junta, but thats not a good news for me :( . i wanna go to Delhi on a company sponsored trip, so that i can meet all my friends and relatives.
     
    And it also becomes clear now, the reason for the frequent car/bike checks near INFY-ISB turn.

    Talking about TCS, Microsoft to get 100 acres at software SEZ

     Is Hyderabad gaining over Bangalore in IT?

    Can HYD someday score more software exports than BLR? which in today's date is thrice in number than HYD's.  

    is it because of Deve Gowda fator, tiring Infrastucture of bangalore or blore government not able to woo companies anymore? Is the new hyderabad international airport (better known as Shamshbad Airport) thingy overhyped?

     

    who knows ... i can just say .. things are moving very fast on the IT front after the national news dailies rated YSR poorly on the IT front as compapred to CBN.

    Close on the heels of Infosys and Wipro disclosing their plans for Hyderabad, TCS and Microsoft have evinced keen interest to expand their operations substantially in the city.

    While the state government has formally allotted 100 acres of land to Wipro by cancelling an IT park proposal in the post-bid stage at Vattinagulapally a week ago, the location for Infosys has been finalised at the newly-proposed 1,500-acre software SEZ near the new international airport.

    According to official sources, TCS officials have sought at least 100 acres for expansion plans of the company in Hyderabad.

    "TCS will be allotted 100 acres in the proposed SEZ as the company has responded positively to the proposed location," a senior government official told Business Standard.

    According to the official,  Microsoft's local representatives are in touch with the state IT department. Microsoft's top brass would visit the site before the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, which owns the land, goes ahead with the arrangements. Microsoft is also expected to get 100 acres in the software SEZ.
